About Spectro-Chrome Light Therapy

I've been using this therapy since 2004. Not only do I use Spectro-Chrome on myself every day (lemon and magenta).  My light in my treatment room is Green which is the physical balancer and our germ killer that everyone can use.

I have also used this therapy on my cats the whole time. They don't know what I am trying to accomplish, but accomplish the color therapy does. They haven't seen a vet in years.  The last time was when my cat came home with a gaping hole in his chest that was ripped out, bloody and all the fur was gone. What in the heck happened?  Normally I would use green to kill any qerms and then indigo to seal the wound. The vet said if they stitched the wound up and put a cone on the cat and he didn't go outside, it would take three months to close the wound. My old cat would not put up with a cone on his head and not coming and going as he pleases.  Under green only! The wound closed up within three weeks, not three months! I was astounded! I didn't have to use Indigo.  That got me all fired up again over what this therapy can do.  This is one of my homework therapies that you can do at home.

Copilot Answer - This is what AI says about this wonderful healing modality.

Spectro-Chrome light therapy is a holistic healing method that uses colored light to restore balance and promote well-being in the body, mind, and spirit.

Overview of Spectro-Chrome Therapy

Spectro-Chrome therapy, developed by Dinshah P. Ghadiali in the late 19th century, utilizes the properties of color to influence health and healing. The therapy is based on the idea that different colors correspond to various physiological effects and can be used to harmonize bodily functions. The method incorporates a color wheel consisting of 12 saturated colors, each associated with specific health benefits.

Historical Context

The origins of Spectro-Chrome therapy can be traced back to the research of various scientists, including Sir Isaac Newton and Dr. Edwin D. Babbitt. Dinshah established the Spectro-Chrome Institute in New York City, where he taught the principles of color therapy. Despite facing legal challenges from the medical community, the therapy gained recognition for its potential benefits.

How It Works

Spectro-Chrome therapy can be applied in two main ways:

Local Application: Colored light is directed onto specific body parts, which can be beneficial for localized conditions.

Systemic Application: A full-body exposure to colored light, often referred to as a "light bath," is used to promote overall wellness.

Benefits and Applications

Holistic Healing: The therapy aims to restore balance and equilibrium, addressing both physical and emotional health.

Color Effects: Each color in the Spectro-Chrome system is believed to have unique effects on the body. For example, red may stimulate energy, while blue may promote calmness.

Chakra Alignment: The colors used in therapy can also correspond to chakra points, enhancing the overall therapeutic experience.

Practical Considerations

Usage: It is recommended to use colored light on bare skin for optimal results. Sessions can be scheduled around mealtimes to avoid interference with blood circulation.

Accessibility: Spectro-Chrome therapy can be practiced at home with the right equipment, making it accessible for personal use.

Conclusions:

Spectro-Chrome light therapy offers a unique approach to health and wellness through the use of colored light. While it has historical roots and anecdotal support, individuals interested in this therapy should consider consulting with a qualified practitioner to explore its potential benefits and applications in their health regimen.
